Why This Must Be Read: Explores the "what if" of Sam actually marrying Pete. There's so much that I love about this story: Jacob's alive (with a new snake), Kerrie & Pete are not villified (although, Pete doesn't come off terribly well). The author manages to come up with a reasonable explanation of why Sam married Pete. And it has a "happy" (Jack/Sam) ending.

malayneseahawk wrote Ignoti Nulla Cupido, in which Daniel visits an AU that seems perfect. But this superb remix shows that the grass truly isn't greener, even if might appear that way to the outside observer.

Great characterization and superbly uneasy undercurrents leave the reader with the sobering thought that consequences and trade-offs always exist... and that really, our own SG-1 universe is a pretty good one, after all.

Why This Must Be Read: No matter what your actual feelings towards Sam/Pete, you will adore this story in which Jack, Daniel, and Teal'c do their very best - or possibly worst - to intimidate Sam's new boyfriend.

You will love Sam's exasperation with her boys (who are definitely displaying that kind of maturity level), their various methods of attack, and Pete's game attempt to keep up. This is the kind of fun fic which is easy to visualize playing out on-screen, and it's guaranteed to leave you grinning!

This evening’s get together was going marginally better than she’d anticipated, but only because her at-the-door search of Jack and Teal’c hadn’t turned up any hidden zat guns.
