Why This Must Be Read: One huge thing that was missing during the beginning part of season nine was Sam. And, fic wise, any mention of Sam and what she was up to for those long six weeks. This addresses that in some small manner when Teal'c, after the events of Origin, drops in on Sam while she's working at Area 51 and they touch base, grab some dinner and generally bond. It's a very short fic, but it is one of the few that attempts to address Sam being missing from the show…and actually showing that anyone cared that she was no longer at the SGC.
