After events of Coup d'Etat, General O'Neill arrives on Atlantis on the Daedalus, along with Richard Woolsey. They want to speak to Elizabeth Weir about a number of issues.
Why This Must Be Read:
Just a nice fic where O'Neill goes to Atlantis to follow up on what happened after the coup among the Genii. It turns out that Elizabeth has other things on her mind and O'Neill figures that out -- and then has to deal with it.
'General O'Neill, Mr Woolsey. To what do we owe the pleasure?' she called out to them.
Jack O'Neill tipped his head to one side. 'Oh, you know, I thought I'd catch a ride and see this place for myself. It's a bit prettier than the SGC, isn't it?' he added, gazing around the sunn-filled room.
'And you, Mr Woolsey?'
Woolsey gripped his briefcase against him like a shield, John noticed. Hed' only met the man once, almost a year previously on their first visit back to Earth after the Wraith siege, but he was sure the man hadn't looked quite so pale at that time.
'I, er...' Woolsey began, looking between O'Neill and Weir.
'Perhaps we can come up to your office, Liz,' O'Neill suggested and before Elizabeth could reply, he was already jogging up the staircase with Caldwell and Woolsey following at a slightly more sedate pace.
