Why This Must Be Read: This month I'm reccing Vampire AUs, and in this one Rodney's a vampire scientist and John's signed on to be his thrall hoping for vampiric sexytimes but it takes him a while to wear Rodney down about that! Sabine's fic sets the scene hilariously and there's a remix by Dee_Laundry called I’ll See It Through (The Texas Two-Step Mix) (M), which explores events in more detail, includes a visit from vamp!Elizabeth, and ends with a romantic conclusion. The two fics together are an excellent read.
