Why this must be read:
Summary: After Rodney is injured on a mission, John jumps at the chance for a milk-run assignment to ease him back into action. (12.5k words)
wildcat88 crafts a tight, strong story here. The team encounters danger despite exercising reasonable caution, and Rodney is badly hurt. Teyla and Ronon are secondary but not invisible (and their typical fic-plot roles are swapped here, entirely believably). John is exasperated by Rodney just as much as he is concerned, and the one thing neither will do is let the other go when danger threatens.
