Why This Must Be Read:

This story hurts so much but in a good way. I mean we get happy moments but of course like all apocafics it has to end and oh does it end. It made me cry and that should be reason enough to read it.

Here, in this sea of celebration and naive joy, they are the island, staying solid for the others to rely upon if need be.

Why This Must Be Read: When I first read this fic, I was blown away by Domenika's excellent rendition of the first half of Rising. Told from Jack O'Neill's point of view, Domenika adds even more substance to the pilot episode of Atlantis. We are given a wonderful take of just how Jack convinced Sheppard to take one last chance and join the Atlantis Expedition, displaying both Jack's humorous side as well as his more serious side, the side of a man who is both a veteran of the Air Force and the Stargate Program. This is a man who knows what he's talking about and he makes sure Sheppard knows it. So when you're watching Rising in the future, take a moment and think of this fic and it will provide some answers for you.

This is a completely smutty PWP and it was the story that got me hooked up on this pairing. Not only the smuttiness is hot; but most of all, this is a little fic about our guys' relationship, and it leaves you needy of more Daniel/Cameron.
