Why This Must Be Read:
This is a brand-new fic by a new author, and very charming..

It's a Evolution 1& 2 account from Bill Lee's POV, giving us a very believable view of the SGC from his perspective. It fills in some logical holes and missing scenes in the original and gives us Bill's reactions to the mission. The characterizations for both major and minor characters are excellent, and the dialogue is snappy and often very funny.

It nicely extends and enriches the canon without wandering too far or going over the top, and wraps with some very nice Jack/Daniel dialogue. I hope other people will join me in encouraging this author to keep writing.. I think this is only her second fic, but it's a keeper!

Why This Must be Read: I loved the dark tone of the story. I don't think many people can pull off what she did with Sheppard, McKay, and Teyla. I was impressed and awed by this story and re-read it multiple times.

Why This Must Be Read:
This is a beautifully written first-person fic, and the story that really hooked me on reading fanfic. It's an OC point of view, but the focus is all on SG-1 as they try to deal with a crisis in the SGC. Atmospheric, believable, fast-paced and exciting. Don't start it when you haven't got time for the whole thing.

Probably a lot of people have read this already, because it's been around for a while. That's okay. Go back and read it again. You've probably forgotten how good it is.

You don't need any familiarity with Pegasus B to read this fascinating, experimental story. It's told entirely in dialogue, and while there are a few references to the Pegasus B universe, it's not the only AU that's referenced here. Every time I read it, it sends my brain spinning in a million different directions. It's a fascinating concept, and Andrew creates something incredibly complex and moving with just a few words.

Why This Must Be Read: B. Cavis writes incredibly good smut, and her snarky Daniel narration is spot-on. Yes, he got Sam and Jack together while he was ascended, and yes, now that he's back down on Earth with the rest of them, he's really annoyed at himself. It doesn't just deal with shallow porn, but SG-1 (yes, including Jonas) deals together with the events which ended season six. I'm also a sucker for team stories that include Daniel and Jonas.

Why This Must Be Read: What would happen if Sam and Jack had a few more minutes under the influence of the nishta in "Seth?" This is the first story by Suz that I read. I nearly died laughing, and then I read it several times over because it's so enjoyable. Sam and Jack remain themselves, not willing to go beyond the bounds of the regs, but acknowledging that there's a lot of emotion between them. Suz has mostly migrated to Smallville and Queer as Folk fandom, but the Stargate fic she wrote during her time in the fandom is definitely worth checking out.
