Most of you probably know

pentapus through their amazing art. Did you realize they're a wonderful writer as well? I didn't, until they wrote a remix of one of my stories in

gateverse_remix.

An Insane, New Improved Computer (Earthside Remix) is the story of Radek's life during the weeks they are all stuck on Earth, and it's absolutely wonderful.

pentapus has Radek's personality down perfectly, and Rodney and Radek's interactions could have been an actual deleted scene from the show. This story is definitely worth a read.

Why This Must Be Read:

tigs describes this a "post-Trinity McKay-Sheppard-Zelenka fix-it fic," and that is exactly what this is. Her characterizations of Rodney, Radek, and Sheppard are brilliant and dead-on, her prose is lovely to read, and the story is engaging and feels like something could have actually occured in the aftermath of Trinity.
