Why This Must Be Read: "Unending" left a bad taste in the mouths of many fans, but this short little snippet goes a ways to making it at least worthwhile and shows in very few words the depth of friendship between Sam and Teal'c (who stole the entire show in that last episode).  In my opinion, it's the fanfic writers who make 'Gate fandom so amazing, and Strix Varia is one of the best. 

Note: If you haven't seen "Unending", this story probably won't make much sense.
