Why This Must Be Read: Whilst not primarily about Kavanagh, this story is a wonderful piece for secondary characters - including him. One of a few stories that show him working with others, as part of a functioning team. He still has the element of jerk here (as is needed since he's no angel by far) but its offset with him as a person, and in a decent context and characterisation. A thoroughly enjoyable and well thought out story that shows Kavanagh to be three-dimensional just like all the other characters in it, despite the fact none of them are well developed on show. Also wonderful due to the premise it's set on - the 'what if' set in the alternate "Before I Sleep" timeline.

Hey, I'm tagging for this comm, and I'm a bit of an idiot when it comes to Atlantis - can I ask who Corrigan is? Does he/she have a first name? I tried on the gateworld compendium and found nothing...

Just Dr. Corrigan (male, no first name) - was in one episode much like Dr. Simpson in 38 minutes - but his was 1x05 Suspicion, apparently as an anthroplogist according to the old scifi.com character listings which I can no longer find on their site. I've seen him pop up in more and more stories the last six months, though to my knowledge no one has really written much of a story about him apart from this and a few others where he's a more developed secondary character than on the show.
