Daniel Jackson and Paul Davis are on their trip to Moscow. They hope to rescue Teal'c who is trapped IN the stargate, but Daniel fears that they may not be able to rescue his friend. Worrying about his friend, has caused Daniel to rethink his life's priorities.

"One minute he was there and now, now he's trapped and maybe he's gone forever. No second chances, no reprieves. I don't want that. I'm tired of living with regrets, all those 'what ifs' and 'should haves.' Something could happen to me tomorrow and I don't want my last thoughts to be about all those things I could have done and should have had. Life's too short to waste it like that."

This story has good interaction with characters that are true to ones we know combined with a sleeping Russian Colonel by the name of Chekov, and an intiation into the Mile High Club, so what are you waiting for? Go read!
