This one is focussed on Vala's backstory, as you might have guessed, but also on how Daniel has a unique insight into her and her personality, and it is this knowledge that is at the core of their relationship, along with a lovely supportive team. A dark fic, but also angsty and romantic, with a strong serving of hurt/comfort.
