Why This Must Be Read: This story takes place during Avalon and is told from Teal'c's point of view. It fills in some of the gaps on the show about why Teal'c stayed at the SGC even after he knew that Daniel was okay (the first time). I don't want to give too much away, but this story captures the mood of Teal'c and the scenes in Avalon perfectly. Her characterizations of Daniel, Teal'c, Vala, and Mitchell are exactly as I see them. It's a warm-fuzzy story without going overboard with the angst or the comfort. It's an inside look at Teal'c's view of events and also Teal'c's view of the other characters. This is my personal favorite of all the stories that I have read by this author.
