I’m not talking religious here—I’m talking your spirit—psyche, soul—whatever you want to call it. I don’t think that this new relationship is going to give you what you want, because what you want is to be with Sam. And you’re trying to do the moral thing, by stepping back and letting her marry the shrub.”
