Why This Must Be Read: This story is mainly Jack/Daniel, with minor Sam/Martouf/Lantash. Jack/Daniel is not a pairing I usually read. However, this story is something I have never seen before - a story where Jack decides to save Sam from Pete and unhappiness by rescuing Martouf/Lantash so Sam can be happy with them! The story was refreshingly different, and I liked it a lot!

Why This Must Be Read: Several years ago, Stringertheory wrote Dal Niente, a beautiful Unending fic in which Sam teaches Teal'c how to play the cello. In this lovely sequel, an older and somewhat lonelier Teal'c returns the favor.

I proudly confess that I asked for this sequel, and Stringertheory sketches out their friendship with intelligence and deep undercurrents. A loving, lush read, and a tribute to both Teal'c and Sam.
