Why this should be read:
This missing scene from "Children of the Gods" is brilliantly original. As Dira commented, "Because, dammit, that kidnapped and murdered Air Force sergeant deserved a name." She gets a name, and a history, and a final chance to hopefully let her people know what happened all because of a feisty Abydonian woman who stands up to false gods spoke in her husband's language.

ADMIN: Volunteers Needed

Ok, all, looks like I'm going to have AT LEAST three open spots for volunteers to help with tags and memories. If you are interested, leave me your name in a post and I will contact you via a PM on LJ. We'll begin the selection process in a week.

Briefly, we're going to try to expand the comm to accept the newest Stargate series. I do not plan on watching this one, so I'll be needing someone who is going to watch it to help me 'run' that portion of the comm. If this is something you'd be interested in, leave a comment on that as well.

I'm going to be screening comments on this post.

Also, activity within the comm is always a bonus for a volunteer. I generally try to choose people who I've seen active within the community. Doesn't mean I won't pick someone who just reads entries and comments once in a while, but I'm big on familiarity. It's a big comfort when giving someone a volunteer position within the community.

So anyway, if you're interested in applying for a volunteer position as either a tagger or for memories, drop me a comment and I will PM you in about a week.
