Why this must be read:
Part high school coming-of-age story and part ancient-device-does-something-unexpected, this story has a few twists in it. It's a great character study of both John and Rodney at sixteen and as adults, showing a really lovely combination of vulnerability and adult behavior.

Why this must be read: Written for theeurekathon 2008, this is a crossover between SGA and Eureka, based on the premise the Elizabeth Weir is the new head of Global Dynamics. Short, cute, bittersweet. A fun read.
