Why This Must Be Read: Because some days you just need a little fluff. Especially when it's got good characterization and is well-written like this one. Nanda does a great job of conveying a lot of emotion with few words, and manages to keep things light without going overboard with the fluff. A must read for Sam/Jack fans.

Why This Must Be Read: I know it's the second fic I rec from lanna_kitty, but I just couldn't not rec this one. It had been written for sga_santa 2006, and really, it's so beautiful written. The description of the ritual is so precise, that you can visualize it in your head really easily. It deals with the aftermath of the expedition taking back Atlantis and things going back to what they were before all this.

Why This Must Be Read: This fantastic vignette gives us Sam and Daniel in a conversation post-Hathor. Daniel is troubled and struggling with the conflict between archeological dreams come true and nightmares come true at the same time. Sam can't do much more than listen, and offer the comfort of her presence... but for these two, that's actually enough.

A great peek into the workings of Daniel's mind, lovely Sam POV, and a delightful cameo for Jack and Teal'c. If you want to read a thoughtful, insightful episode tag for Hathor, then this story is definitely for you.

Why This Must Be Read:
While I read McKay/Sheppard nearly exclusively, I decided to branch out a bit since I'm reccing the more general category of "Rodney McKay." The basic idea is that Teyla accidentally finds Rodney's lesbian porn (edited down to the "good parts," of course), and after watching it together they decide to...experiment. (The author's summary is "Rodney takes it like a man," which should give you a hint as to *how* they experiment.) Overall, it's very well-written, both of their initial reactions to the porn are absolutely hysterical, and the character voices are pitch-perfect. And the sex? Very hot.
