Why This Must Be Read:  Jack and Daniel are trapped, and assuming their luck will hold out and they will be rescued.  This is, after all, fanfic rather than the series, so there is the distinct possibility of their demise.  At any rate, despite all literature to the contrary, men do talk...just not in the heartfelt emo manner of women.  Jack and Daniel couch what may be their final words in typical J/D non-sequitors and light-serious banter through-out this wonderfully-written story.

Why This Must Be Read: This was probably the first of this pairing that I ever read, and I cannot help but love it. Chelle really pulls off the circumstances that Elizabeth is dumped into, and adding Vala's brand of mischief to the mix is just amazing. Very cool.

Why This Must Be Read: “All Daniel wanted was a bottle of milk...”

This ficlet makes me cackle with glee, because I find it to be so perfectly Daniel. Go about his perfectly innocent business. Run into (possibly mortal) danger. Seek a peaceful solution, try to keep things calm, open a dialogue and establish a line of negotiation… and, when all else fails, use whatever tool is at hand to whack the bad guy over the head.
