Why this must be read: I chose this story as my first rec mainly because everytime I read this it amazes my just how much this author took an unbeliveable scenerio and made me completely believe it. The author says An alien device causes one member of SG-1 to undergo a drastic transformation but this statement does not do this story justices.
I loved every minute of this story, ached with Sam, felt sorry for her and cheered for her the entire way. The way the guys react to her transofrmation, help her and take care of her, then search for her endlessly when she is lost is, IMO, just like our guys would do in cannon.
If you haven't read it yet, please do. You would definately be missing out.

Why This Must Be Read:  This is an older fic by an author that has unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view) moved on to the greener OT3 pastures of Battlestar Galactica.  Evaporation is just how I like my S/J fic: insightful, angsty and lyrical.  I love the way she ties the whole fic together with one very vivid and evocative image.  It’s a short one-shot, but you’ll look a long time to find something quite as beautiful.

As you all know, we have several volunteers who put tags on the entries and put the posts into memories. I'm posting here because I'm going to need a couple more volunteers to backup positions. Basically, you'll fill in when someone else can't do it for an extended period of time.
