Why This Must Be Read:

This is the first installment of a three part story in the form of vingettes. The other two installments are titled: "Hot Shots" and "Hot Beds". All three parts are linked together and make for an interesting read. In the first Daniel gets some rather disturbing calls. He has no idea who is making them and assumes they're all crank calls. Shortly after he receives the phone calls Jack begins to get DVD's in the mail that soon lead to revelations as things begin to steam up. Enjoy!

Why This Must Be Read:

The story is well-written and involved. In the story we see a strong friendship that has suffered an almost lethal blow. When the friendship is nearly gone Jack learns a truth about Daniel that drives him to act. The truth Jack learns leads him on a mission to help Daniel realize he's important and regain his will to fight and continue fighting to live. It also leads to a long-overdue confession being uttered. Enjoy!
