This was one of the big bang stories, and the premise was "what if John and Rodney went through the time dilation portal in Epiphany together?" The story is a leisurely paced romance, which suits the setting very well, and it allows for a lot of indulgent domestic scenes like napping, sheep milking, and skinny dipping.
