More Cassandra stories. I do mean it when I say there aren't enough.

Why This Must Be Read: If you know anything about what I like to read, you are probably aware I will choose angst over fluff most of the time. With Cassandra stories, I don't even have a choice!!! It is all angst, all the time. Hasn't this poor girl seen enough? In The Box, we are looking at a future Cassie; a woman who has taken on the role of care giver for an aged Jack O'Neill. She experiences all the pangs and frustrations of anyone in this position. Reading The Box, I have to wonder if the author has also seen a family member at the dusk of his/her life. It is a beautiful story and shows the reader as much about Cassie as it does about Jack.

I so rarely read death fics, but I have a soft spot for death fics with a happy ending anyway. :-);-) The observation that Daniel now spoke with Jack's voice and had his mannerisms was simply perfect.
