Why This Must Be Read:
Here's another "fresh off the presses" team fic (whoo hoo!)
paian does a lovely job with a five things prompt, but it's the "sixth" additional story that really grabs you.
Anyone who saw "Unending" knows Teal'c had a particular adventure in SG-1's final episode. This fic explores what he brought back, physically and emotionally from that experience. Through Teal'c's eyes, we get profound revelations and perspectives on each of his team members and General Landry as well. His memories carry both a bittersweet and hopeful air as he visits his friends with particular mementos from the experience.
As always with
paian's fics, the character voices are superbly strong and the language powerful. There is a richness to this story that gives life to Teal'c's heritage as well as the personalities of the rest of SG-1.
This fic is a haunting and wonderful read.
