Why This Must Be Read: It’s difficult to explain this short story without giving away too much, so let’s just say that Tidia gives us an interesting look at the inside of Daniel’s head while he conjures some mental defenses. It’s intriguing and confusingly bizarre, with guest appearances from a variety of characters in different guises. You’ll enjoy navigating the twists and turns of Syncopated Steps in Dreamland until you finally reach the comfort of its happy ending.

 

...And finding a snippet for this is impossible, because the story keeps shifting so strongly. You’ll just have to go and read it yourself. :)

Very very nice. I had to go back and read some of it again to really understand what was going on. Really loved Daniel and Oma dancing, I could visualize that so well from the descripton.
