This story took my by surprise. Its elegant prose and stabbing insights kicked me in the gut. I loved it. Character voice is great and I love the way sage comes at SG from a perspective that's a 180 from mine. It made me re-think the Sam/Daniel relationship.

I feel bad about that because it seems like there should be lots of good Dan/Sam but there's just not.

If you need help separating the wheat from the chaff, just holler! I run a Sam/Daniel archive only for the good stuff, so trust me I've read *everything*! ;-)
