Why This Must Be Read: This is possibly the most adorable story about impotence ever written. Which, on the surface, might not be that much of a selling point! But you'd do yourself a disservice if you missed out on this story: it's sweet, and hot, and profoundly insightful about Ronon's character and the many small ways in which being alone for so long has broken him ... as well as making me love and appreciate him (even more) for all the depth of feeling and affection that he's still capable of, even after everything that's happened to him. And I love the way that this story takes certain slash cliches and very gently, affectionately, turns them upside down, remaking them into something brand new.
