Why This Must Be Read: Jemima takes the canon that Stargate dialing program Sam wrote not quite being as cool as a real DHD, mixes in some AU goodness, and ends up with the slightly crack (but oh so yummy) premise of how would Sam and Jack react to being slipped into an AU where things are VERY different indeed. To be able to go back to their reality, they must stay under cover until quantum rapping sends them back to where they belong. Jemima has obviously done her physics research (far better than the real writers usually do) and is a fabulous writer to boot. There's a sequel, The Perfect Setup , that is EVEN better.
