Hello! This is [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] posting a rec for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] who is away for now, but wanted to make sure he got a post in the first of the month. Obviously with the blackout, I missed the day I wanted to get it posted, but here it is now. Enjoy!
Rec Category: BDSM
Pairing: Daniel/Jack/Paul Davis
Category: BDSM
Warning: Slash, BDSM in consensual situation, NC-17. Some FemSalsh
Author on LJ:
dmouse
Author's Website: Dangermouse's Fan Fiction
Link: Quiet Strength
Why This Must Be Read:
Dangermouse has a talent for telling a story. An attention to detail and good research shows that she not only cares about the content of her stories, but also about those who read. Quiet Strength, tells the story of unconventionality, an eventual triumvirate between Daniel/Jack/Paul within a BDSM relationship. Dangermouse deals with societal learning and the psychology of the relationship and BDSM is explored. Through the chapters of QS Dangermouse looks at a variety of practices and scenes. The writer also delves into the level of relationship(s), both from an internal and external viewpoint of the triumvirate. Quite Strength continues with Bonds of Friendship and then finally with In All But Name (WIP). It would have been easy for me to recommend the latter two to use up my recs. If you have never understood how a BDSM relationship works then this one will help to explain the mystery.
