fragmentpieces and I shall be your Rodney McKay reccer for the month of September. I mainly read gen and het stories, so that will be what I mainly recommend- but a few slash stories will probably make their way in here.

Why This Must Be Read: To start off my career as a reccer (yes, I am a newbie) I give you one of my favorite series. It falls into a grey area as to what the pairing is, it is Rodney McKay- but Rodney has been turned into a girl- so it is both slash and het, but the first few chapters are gen.
What makes this story great is that it isn't your traditional gender-bender- in no way is the Atlantis team to blame for the sudden change in gender. The emotional vibes are also dead on, there isn't any excess wailing and weeping- there is some at first, but after the period of adjustment is over, what you've got is Rodney with breasts, a refreshing change of pace. What all this is trying to say is that this fic is a lot of fun, you have confused yet protective!team, Rodney kicking the goolies out of the bad guys and crying on demand. It is great, go read and enjoy (I hope)
