Why you should read it?
What I liked about this story is that the plot/conversation and character development remain consistent with what we have seen in the TV series...So while it is a "what if...?" sort of story, it doesn't cross the boundaries Sam and Jack have set for themselves as far as their attraction for each other goes... but it still offers a possible opening/solution and hope that they will find a way to make it work. With a bit of tweaking of Mini-jack's character (I think he's written far too angsty/cocky even for Jack), one could believe that this could be an episode of the show in season 9. *grin*
