Why This Must Be Read: This Lacey McBain fic is a continuation of the other "The Hive" related story I recced. This story gives the reader insight into Sheppard's reactions when he finds out exactly what actions McKay took to get back to Atlantis, something I, as a viewer, was disappointed to find missing from the episode itself. I was left feeling the episode was incomplete. The great thing about finding the ending in the fandom is getting it explored through the slash slant which we are likely to see on the show itself.
