sga_flashfic's Backstory Challenge, this story gives us a very satisfying Ronon backstory. I love the worldbuilding of this fic. The people populating the story are definitely not any folks you or I would have met, but their lives and concerns feel realistic and self-consistent, rich and real.
Gosh that's a dry description of the story's literary merit. Read it because of brave Kid!Ronon, who reads comic books and trashy novels and dreams of growing up to be a Real Hero!
