Civilian by Paian, Mature (explicit)
Aug. 20th, 2007 07:11 pmAnd continuing down the lovely body of Jack O'Neill, I see we have reached his heart, which I am shamelessly about to rip out and stomp the life out of with this next rec.
Rec Category: Jack O'Neill

Why this must be read: Jack gets a call in the middle of the night from an old black ops buddy. He heads out, presumably to rescue someone from a bad situation, and encounters an even worse situation than he thought possible. This is set midway into Season 7. You die hards all know this is the point in which Jack is a good deal less touchy-feely than he was in earlier, pre-Ascension/Descension times. And we see how Daniel...copes. There is so much OUCH in this story, you will feel your own heart break for Jack, but it is the fact that the story can pull you in and carry you along with his pain that makes it such a good read.
