Why This Must Be Read: I just realized that this second Sheppard focused story I've recommended, which is odd because I openly admit to being all about "the McKay" in this pairing. This story provides believable insight into Sheppard's background as he brings Rodney home to meet the family. You know that family, the one your family has been friends with all those years, with the kid about the same age as you that you could never quite measure up to? That family and that kid, all grown up, are there when John and Rodney get there.
