Why this must be read: I love fic where Earth/the Tauri are at war with other planets; this fic is one of those, sort of, you see there's this wonderful twist to this story that explains why Daniel is screwed up and Cameron's a General :) The characterisation is brilliant; I've never really been into "OT3" fic but this one makes the pairings and the threesome so believable in the heart of conflict. Cameron is really, really, well written. There's a battle weary feel about him and it's just so perfect… Of course my personal favourite line is "Sam nearly danced with glee when he finally lost his pants. " ;)

This is one of my all time favorite fics! And the reason I'm searching out Sam/Cam/Dan fics at the moment, though I'm afraid none will compare to this one.
