Why This Must Be Read:

I admit, this was why I signed up to rec Sam/Daniel this month. It's a beautiful and haunting fic where they're stuck on some distant planet, with no means of getting home. While Daniel merges into this new life, Sam finds it hard to accept that she may never get home. It's a wonderful glimpse of their life together as both go about some major changes and as their friendship evolves through the years.
