Why This Must Be Read: This "five things" fic is just over 300 words but it packs an emotional wallop that stayed with me for days. Each piece of never-given advice is distinctly Jack and it's clear both how important they are and yet why Jack didn't tell them to Cameron. They really are five important lessons Cam will have to learn, not ones he can understand from simply being told. The last one especially, particularly the final two sentences, stayed in my head for days because they ring so very true.
