Why This Must Be Read: Laura/Teyla is one of the minor pairings in femslash in Stargate, which is a shame, because this is a sweet, wonderful piece showing how Laura and Teyla grow from friends into lovers. This piece doesn't go beyond PG-rated, but it's a wonderful encapsulation of a day they spend together on the mainland, in the company of the Athosians. Laura gets to go beyond snarky, and Teyla gets to show far more facets than the show often lets her. One of the best things about fanfic is how the characters can become fully realized, and this fic is a perfect example of it.
