Why This Must Be Read: Set between the scenes of Return I, this fic is all about the wrongness that Kate feels when she's on Earth, and how she doesn't exactly cope with it as well as she's like to. I like stories about the expedition's return to Earth, and what we didn't see in the episode. This is a beautiful story, and the poetry interspersed between the paragraphs helps with the haunting feel we get.
