Summary: The thing about being in the military, especially being in the Air Forces, was that the people who always signed on for more knew more or less that they were lifers, that this was a career choice. This was envisioned first as a “Sliding Doors”-esque story,which rests on the idea that a life can be completely different should it diverge from one specific point in one’s life.
Why this should be read: I like how much depth is added to Lorne's character in these stories; also to Parrish's in the first one. I like both versions of this story, but I really like the last one best. And it comes with pretty pictures.
