Why This Must Be Read: Like I can say with a few other authors out there, I can say, cause this author wrote it. *grin* Seriously, peanutbutterer is an amazing author and this is one of her best. It is a AU, and before any who don't normally like AU's says no way take a chance and read this one. It is wonderfully profound, moving, and thought provoking. The author has a very deft hand, leaving you wanting to read it all in one sitting, and lucky you's you get to do that! Go, go, go... *HR waves you on* And remember to feed the author! *grin*

She thinks that maybe in another life she would have been someone – done something.

She has an abstract notion of grandeur that doesn’t quite meld with her daily existence, but seems so much a part of her that somehow, somewhere – she knows she’s bigger than this.

Unfortunately, in this incarnation she’s not.

If you don't mind me asking- What sort of an AU is it? The alternate universe twist-in-the-road sort, or the kind where the characters have totally different lives and have nothing to do with the stargate?

This a twist in the road sort; alternate worlds, time-lines sort of thing... It's kind of a what if, combined with "in canon" stuff.
