Why This Must Be Read: Hey people, I'll be your JD reccer for April. Yay! First of all, since this is an enormous category, I'd like to apologise in advance if I rec something that's been rec'ced in any other category.

When I first went to look in the memories to see if AWOL had already been rec'ced and I saw it hadn't been, I literally did a double-take. Really.

Well, this is just the cream of the crop when it comes to Jack/Daniel; it's simply the very best J/D I've ever read. Jack's actions trying to be with Sam even though he knows he loves Daniel are perfectly in character. And Daniel's angst when he thinks that Jack has finally made a move on Sam and he can't even hope to be with his colonel anymore is heartbreaking; because of this, Daniel runs away through the Stargate, going to make universe-changing discoveries like the genius he is. Don't worry you guys, we have a happy ending here. Now, go read it. I mean it, I will call Interpol on anyone who hasn't read it, it's mandatory for any J/D reader. *makes scary face* And there's smut in there too, one more reason to go read it!

Author's summary: When Jack tries to convince himself that he belongs with Sam, Daniel disappears off-world. A desperate search for Daniel ensues, but only Jack can find him, following his heart across the universe to the man he loves.

*snort* Love it. For what it's worth, it's perfectly fine to rec a story as Jack/Daniel that has previously been rec'ed in a different category.

Yeah, I know... It's just that it happened to me once and someone rec'ced one of my rec'ced stories in the same freaking month and I became livid. (Really, it was scary how angry I was at the time.) So, since I can't afford to look the pairing through the tags (since there are so many J/D stories), but only through the memories, I decided to apologize beforehand.
