Summary: Daniel and Cam take a snow day.

Why this must be read: It took me a very long time before I could finally accept Daniel/Cam as a viable pairing in stargate, but when it finally hit me, it hit with a vengeance. This one has quickly become a favorite for me, in particular because it brings a certain level of believability as to how these two men would end up together and best of all it does a very good job of explaining why Daniel would be with Cam instead of with Jack during season 9.



"You gotta love snow days, huh, Jackson?" Cam says, getting up and shaking the snow off with an animalistic 'brr'.

He scoops up a giant handful of snow and packs it down a little in his hands.

"So is that all we need?" he asks.

"This ain't for the snow creme," Cam replies, and then hurls it straight at Daniel's chest.

Something sparks to life in Daniel. Something young and free and unburdened. Something stark and pure as snow.

Suddenly snow is flying back and forth between them and they laugh and dodge and throw snow like stupid, beautiful boys.
