Why This Must Be Read: I would recommend this piece just for its quiet and thoughtful nature. It is a look into Teyla's thoughts and her character very early in the series before she was really fully integrated into the Atlantis team and much more closely(actively) connected with her own people. It is the "stranger in a strange land" sort of piece; Teyla commenting on how she sees the world and the expedition, as well as her own background and feelings in regards to her own people. It is followed by its companion piece: Strength for Fear
