After the events of "Shades of Grey" Daniel is kidnapped by a rogue NID offshoot and the rest of SG-1 are caught up in a desperate race against time to save him.

This story is recc'ed as a POV fic because most of it is written from Jack's perspective. An excellent story. The story draws you in and keeps you hooked until the very end.

ELG is one of my all time favorite fan fic writers. Her stories are compelling, intriguing and very well written. This story as well as several others of hers have won a Stargate fan fiction award in the past. Enjoy!

::beam:: I *adore* this fic - it's one of my absolute all-time favourites in any fandom. Beautifully written, edge-of-your-seat suspense that's compelling but never over the top or gratuitous. Thanks for the rec - it's reminded me of just how much I want to go and re-read the fic all over again :)
