Jack winced. "Are you fuckin' suicidal? Why did you do that?"
"Um...I kinda had to," Daniel shrugged. "Not ruling out any possibilities for why she might have wigged out in the hallway on nineteen. I mean, y'know...women. They...like...synchronise."
"You thought it was PMS?" Jack asked, incredulously.
"How the hell should I know?" Daniel said. He stretched his back, presenting the long, lean line of his chest and belly. "In case you hadn't noticed, I'm a man."

Sometimes I wonder if this isn't a sly commentary on the fanfic writers that turn Daniel into a rather muscly girl.
