Why This Must Be Read: My recs in this category this month, thus far, have been of the novel-length, heavier variety, so, for balance, here's a lighter piece. Nothing much goes on except the Jack and Daniel banter and snark we know and love, while Daniel changes a lightbulb, then Daniel runs smack into that "big, honkin' clue bus" named Jack O'Neill. Biblio manages to portray a sexually aware, sexually oblivious Daniel in ways that ring true to the complicated man we know from canon, and she follows through with it in erotically charged sex that never loses touch with the emotional and mental connection between these two men. And, as always, her craftsmanship with language is very satisfying.
