Why This Must Be Read: A fun crossover in which Rodney McKay and Grant Jansky (David Hewlett's character in Traders) are identical cousins. Starting with John and then Carson, we learn more about Grant and Rodney as the boys spend more time together and with a dramatic twist of events, Grant ends up joining the Atlantis expedition as another civilian consultant. There's great characterization of the guys and it has its funny and poignant moments. Although it technically is still a work in progress (the author is currently adding in new chapters of Grant experiencing Atlantis and meeting the other members), this story can stand alone by itself as it's mainly Grant being introduced to John and Carson and how Rodney plots to have his cousin join him on Atlantis. It's a wonderful read.
