Why This Must Be Read: I love everything that [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] writes, but I have a particular fondness for her threesome fics, because she doesn't treat anyone as lesser, or secondary, and that's just a pile of badness right there for me when I read a threesome fic. In this case, in a post-Atlantis, stuck-on-Earth world, John's looking for something, and when he goes to visit Elizabeth, he finds her, Rodney, and a whole new way of looking at things. Elizabeth has drawn them closer to her than they've ever been before, and they find a way to heal each other's emotional scars.
My favorite quote from the fic is : Maybe Elizabeth would understand without him saying anything, he thought. After all, they'd spent five years in pretty close company. Five years watching each other's backs, five years getting each other out of trouble. Nobody had had to save his life on a consistent basis since Atlantis, and he had to admit it was getting boring.
